 Visit to Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, is a symbol of love and devotion. Located in the city of Agra in northern India, the Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The stunning monument, made of white marble, is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture and is considered one of the world's greatest wonders. I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful monument last year, and it was an experience that left me awestruck.

I visited the Taj Mahal early in the morning to avoid the crowds and catch the sunrise. As I approached the entrance gate, I was struck by the grandeur of the structure. The white marble walls glowed in the early morning light, and the intricate carvings and designs on the walls and domes of the building were simply breathtaking. The Taj Mahal is truly a work of art, with its symmetrical design and elegant proportions.

As I entered the complex, I was struck by the serenity of the place. The gardens surrounding the monument were well-manicured, and the fountains added to the peaceful ambiance. The pathways were lined with trees and flowers, and the whole area was clean and well-maintained.

As I approached the main building, I saw the large reflecting pool in front of the Taj Mahal. The pool is a stunning feature of the complex, and it is said to represent the four rivers of paradise. The sight of the Taj Mahal reflected in the still waters of the pool was simply mesmerizing.

I then climbed the stairs leading to the main platform where the Taj Mahal stands. The closer I got to the monument, the more I appreciated the intricate details of the architecture. The minarets on each side of the building seemed to reach for the sky, and the dome at the top was a true marvel of engineering. The calligraphy on the walls, which was done in black marble, was also very impressive.

When I finally reached the top platform, the sight of the Taj Mahal up close was truly breathtaking. The white marble gleamed in the sunlight, and the intricate carvings and designs on the walls and domes were even more impressive up close. The interior of the monument was also beautiful, with its ornate arches and delicate lattice work. The central chamber, where the tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal are located, was simple yet elegant.

One of the most impressive features of the Taj Mahal is the way it changes color throughout the day. In the early morning, the white marble shines bright against the blue sky. As the day progresses, the marble takes on a warm golden hue in the sunlight. In the evening, as the sun sets, the Taj Mahal seems to glow in the soft light, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

Overall, my visit to the Taj Mahal was a truly unforgettable experience. The beauty and grandeur of the monument left me awestruck, and I could appreciate why it is considered one of the world's greatest wonders. The attention to detail in the architecture and design, the peaceful surroundings, and the changing colors throughout the day all added to the magic of the Taj Mahal. It truly is a must-see destination for anyone visiting India.
